We are in the process of updating the site and making some revisions/improvements. If there is something you would like to see added to the site please just let me know.  I hope to use this blog to give updates on all things Payette River.

It looks like were are going to have a great water year this year.  We have a ton of water in the mountains but not a lot of water in the reservoirs so if we have a mild spring I would not expect too much extreme high water, but we should get a good little run.  We need to get water back in the reservoirs and saturate the ground so we don't back into low water land.

On a personal note: I am currently going through the fun of getting my exostosis removed (surfer's ear).  A word of advise- GO BUY EAR PLUGS AND WEAR THEM!

It is a really painful surgery and recovery sucks.  I got my right ear done two weeks ago and I am going to get my left ear done in a few weeks. I am going to see if the doc will let me take some pics to post so that I can ad some "visual aids" to the community service announcement.
